So, here I am again, just talking to the wall, because I cannot seem to find a community of people anywhere who want to talk about Elementary without harping on either gender, or race.

I noticed that, too, that he was trying to find the "right" spot on his own skull before he felt the other one. I hope he's not planning on drilling into his own skull, but maybe he's trying it out on the "demo" one to avoid doing it to himself? Like, he isn't feeling alright, and he knows these thoughts are "wrong" but he doesn't know what to do?

Another thing I liked about this episode - it showed again how he *really* can't read Joan, but he was open about it. "That expression - what does it mean?" I wish she had talked to him more about what she actually was thinking, but I liked that he recognizes he can't read her at all.

Hi there! :-)

It is interesting that he can't read her, you're right. That she can hide things from him successfully - and yet, he's somehow able to 'let it go' to a large degree with her. He allows her her secrets, for the most part.

Yes, trying to find appropriate outlets for his proclivities, rather than something that would be self-harming....and that would align nicely with the Randy-relapse storyline, too.

Thanks! See, new input, new directions. :-)
