I'm about a half hour into that Ring movie, and I'm just about terrified out of my gord.

I don't know, but I'm betting you don't either. It's not like you Canadians are very conservative with your u's. ;)

Hooray for freedom from British rule (which gives us the right to spell words without u's)

You know, I really can't stand scary / ultra-violent movies. They stick with me too much, freak me out, not my deal. I've never watched Pulp Fiction, Reservor Dogs messed with my head for a while, etc.

I don't see you as a guy who scares easily.

I don't like Tarantino at all (as I've said), but "The Ring" didn't bother me...well not much anyway. Maybe a little bit.

The ones that don't show all the right parts tend to engage my imagination.. make me think something is lurking in the closet.. something slimy.. something dead.. something that wants company..

and.. uh.. no.. it.. didn't.. get.. to.. me.. at.. all.

They've been making old time kind of scary movies lately (like the Blair Witch one) which don't show a lot of violence really really scare me. Not showing is so much more important than showing it when your trying to scare someone..

because now there is a dead girl in my basement who can think me dead right now. :/

And have you seen the original Japanese version?

Oh My God. It's the most disturbing, SICK movie I've ever seen.

lmao

Well, this was the opinion of a somewhat uber-sensitive person. A friend told me that he thought it was blah. I hope you aren't disappointed anyway :)
