Yeah I don't know why I bother even wanting one or want to be around people in general when 99% of them are such horrid creatures who are out for cruelty.

OMG. Creepiness. At least she's safe with her family and there's not much of anything he can do if she wants to return to the U.S. I hate to say she's lucky, but considering how much worse that could have turned out, she kind of is. At the very least it didn't turn into a case of domestic violence that ended in death (as would frequently be the case in a situation where one party seemingly wants out) and now he seems to have washed his hands of her, so she's free to start over without fear or repurcusion. Though I'm sure those two weeks were hell.

Well, she is in Brazil with her husband and mother probably suffering lecture upon lecture upon lecture from both of them.

I'm not sure I'd call that safe.
