Interesting entry! I may have mentioned before that educational psychology is my field and I've always been fascinated by intelligence testing. When I was in high school, some of my teachers thought I was special and arranged for me to have an IQ test. I remember it being several hours long and very boring at the time. Further, they never told me what my score was although I know it was quite good because I was treated much differently after that. Now that I have worked in educational research, I would love to take that test again. However, like you said, I don't think one test can truly measure all the variables that make someone the smartest, the best baseball player, and so on. I think science is wonderful but sometimes it isn't able to look at the big picture. Like you said, what you do with your life is more important. I know more than one "genius" who sits around their house all day accomplishing nothing, and I know more than one complete moron who has gone really far in life.
