Another down day, yesterday (I'm starting to log this because I'm a bit concerned about my wild mood swings as of late). It was inevitably going to be a letdown compared to Thursday night (when I met someone at a party), but I had hopes that maybe it wouldn't be too bad when the day started and I was still riding the high

Thanks for sharing your feelings about leaving your job, and your farewell message. I hope the new part-time job is good so far, and that you have as few regrets about the career change as I've had (at 3 weeks, it's still 0).

You're saying engineers and starving students don't dress the same? I thought they were similar, except with more penguins and tech company names on the t-shirts of the engineers.

Yeah, I thought it might be interesting to read. The new one starts today in less than half an hour, so I'll be sure to keep y'all posted. Glad you have no regrets.

Yeah, pretty similar. But there's a difference, at least for me. I tended to wear khakis and corporate wear. So now I'm wearing jeans and non-corporate wear.

Goodness, a Firefly fan. Awesome! Didja know I have a Jayne hat? You can see a picture of it somewhere on my MySpace account. Yeah, I don't mind anybody friending me, especially if they have cool hair. :)

Yeah, last day snuck up on me. I guess two weeks notice isn't really that much when you're only going in twice a week.

Ooh, a Jayne hat. . . I give you many props! Yeah I just discovered Firefly lately through Brad, who lent me his Serenity DVD (um, a little obsessed now but i get that way sometimes).

Stompy is an old nickname my boyfriend came up with. I used to wear these huge combat-like boots all the time and stomp around when I was mad. ^_^ It kind of stuck.
