Oh, OUCH! I mean, I'm over the mood about the new posting (*squeeee!*), but just read chapter 6 as a warm-up, and...hmmm. I thought perhaps Matt was picking up on more than Alex w/the Chavelles and Red. Maybe a bit suspicious they were setting up some kind of trap.
Still, he could have told Min (still haven't settled on which name *I* prefer). There's just not a respectful way to color not communicating, y'know?
So here we now have regression, and I'm very sad to say it's not looking good for the two of them at all. And, having been where Min is in a relationship - it's better, just not *enough* better - well, it sucks. Really sucks. The kind of suckage that makes you feel 800 years old and tired.
None of which diminishes my delight in this story any less.
These two guys, *communicate* properly? We wish! ;-) More like fleeting moments of clarity, sigh.
I haven't been in that sort of relationship dilemma personally, so I can only imagine the frustration (and heartbreak). But yeah, the way you described it, spot on to Alex's feelings here. Sorry you know the feeling, but it's good to know it was captured realistically enough.
Thanks! If the road were easy, it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying right?
Yeah, they both seem to have communication issues! Sigh.
Lol, well I can't say I'm surprised about the wanting more already. *grin* Fortunately, it should NOT take as long this time to update (not that that's saying much, when last time it was a horrible 7 months)!
You know, I used to run this social skills group for 8-10 year olds, and one of the hardest things was to teach them to apologize properly without trying to make the other person feel guilty or blaming them... I think the 8-10 year olds could teach Matt a thing or two!

I love Alex's inner struggle :D

Yes, that clumsy apology did leave something to be desired... but at least it wasn't given with an 8 year old's pout! Matt's not quite THAT bad...
Oh he is struggling. *grin*
