I'm keeping an eye out, but I still haven't seen the girl.

I met Admiral Bradley before the Hanami Festival, and he is kind of a mystery to me. I went to visit the Amestris to see some friends and an enemy. I had an encounter with the enemy, and called to inform deck security there was a problem. Bradley and Commander Mustang showed up. The enemy (Kazutaka Muraki, one of the ship's entertainers) had a large, vicious, winged animal with him, and later on, Bradley sent one of his officers to investigate Muraki for his possession of that animal. The creature is magical, and it is not natural, it was made. I wonder, what is Bradley's interest in the chimera? I have very positive feelings about the Admiral, as he has been very friendly and has looked kindly on my random comings and goings on his ship, and he did help me with that sonofabitch and his pet. But...I sometimes have a funny feeling about Bradley ( ... )

But thanks for the heads-up about the investigation. I have no idea what it could mean, though. What kind of feeling did you get?

And yeah, I do. ...I can't tell you everything, but he said something weird to me. He hinted that he knew something I'd been pretty damn careful about keeping secret. It's not the sort of thing anyone would be able to find out easily, and it could be bad if the wrong people got wind of it. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out where he could have heard about it, because it's not the kind of thing an ordinary military captain would vaguely hint at, or even go digging for in the first place.

I think there's more to him than we can see. It's hard to say why, other than the way he acts.

If that confidential matter you're speaking of would be that hard to discover, than maybe he didn't do it by digging? Is there any possibility that he is a psychic or that he has one on his staff? You specialize in the supernatural - could you tell if anybody went trolling through your head?

It disturbs me, too, that he let you know that he knew the secret. Did he hint that he might not keep it to himself?

....I dunno. If they do have a psychic on board, I wasn't told about it, and definitely couldn't feel anything. I'll ask one of the records keepers if she knows anything about a psychic on board, but I'm already off the ship, so I doubt I'll find anything myself.

And no, he didn't. I really don't know why he said it, come to think of it. He definitely didn't sound like he was blackmailing me, but it didn't feel completely friendly, either. All I can think of is that he was trying to throw me off-balance, or maybe get me off the ship.
