Eventful day

This morning it was moist, so we put of riding until the afternoon and, after we'd done the yard jobs, I retired to the kitchen: spiced elderberry cordial, sorting the boxes of apples and tomatoes with subsequent passata and apple juice, general tidying

And your phone? Did the 9.1 update go smoothly?

It's actually 9.0.1, not 9.1, which isn't out yet. And it's fine now except that flickgc doesn't like the new San Francisco font that iOS 9 uses.

About the tomatillos - tomato plants, when ripening, produce some gas (I think it may be acetylene) which may be having an effect on the tomatillos.

The ones in pots are close to tomatoes as well, I think it is just that they were being shaded / out competed for water!

Catching up on my LJ, so I suspect I'm too late to put my hand up for a possible ballet ticket; the Northern Ballet are my favourite company, and Wuthering Heights is one of my favourite novels. I should probably check whether they're touring anywhere near us...
