We went on a flying visit to family this weekend: my parents, lunch with my sister (and her New Man; she seems very happy), Mike's mother and brother. For the first two of those, Mike spent a lot of time muttering "It looks very Northern up here

Good luck with dentist and have fun with tree. We got ours from Cambridge market on Friday, at which point they were still piled high. :)

We're using our plastic tree this year; I'm resisting the urge to spray the house with pine-scented air freshener.

We've got as far as having received some amazon parcels. However, one branch of the family has already been provided their presents so actually more progress than I realised. No tree yet though.
