It was her own fault, she supposed. For last minute doubts and waiting for the Doctor to have slipped out before leaving. And for the time she had spent fixing her hair and makeup.
Finally, already fifteen minutes late, a woman comes rushing towards the Mermaid Quay, dressed in a short but flattering floral print skirt and a pink peasant top blouse.

Sarah's lone figure was noticed by the Captain, but not immediately acted upon. It was only once she drew closer that he rose from his seat with a grin, walking towards her to save her the entire approach, and looking her over in a not at all subtle manner.
"Wow, you look great!" He said in replacement of a greeting, reaching for a hand to kiss to pull off his whole gentleman act. Jack wasn't dressed too bad himself, doing away with his never changing uniform in favour of a nicely tailored and very old fashioned suit and tie, and his hair far more styled than normal.
