Theres a reason why I take any animal I can, hurt, disabled, what-have-you, any animal I find, I take in, I take care ov 'em and find them good homes or keep 'em permenantly, I get them fixed, their shots, hell, I'm doing what I can to help with www.alleyanimals.org, to help the animals I can't take. I know how humans can be, theres many a person, I stopped being friends with, because I found out what they did to animals, just because they're a bigger and "more intelligent" species, pfft! I'm going through training now, for a job that will pay me a great deal in the long run, so that I can buy at least 30 acres ov land, put a fence around it to keep outsiders out and take all the animals I find on the streets or in shelters and keep 'em on my land. My lifes dream, heh.
I knew you loved animals, Sammy but I had no idea you do so much. That's really inspirational!! I take in strays too - one of our much loved family cats was a stray I found stuffed down a drain at my highschool when she was 3wks old. I had been on my way to my locker and heard her crying and demanded the janitor cut her out. He didn't want to, assuming it was just a feral cat but I caused a scene and got other students involved and we had a stand in until he cut her out. Then I kept her. I bought Jas from a breeder but my next dog - whether it be as a playmate for him or after he passes - is definitely coming from a shelter.
