new book!

I just received my own personal facimile of the book "A Schole-House for the Needle" first printed in 1632!!! It is so great that it is an actual photo-copy instead of a reproduction. You can even see where some of the images have been pricked to transfer them to fabric. I think I can consider it a primary reference, don't you? It has the added ( Read more... )

it's so inspiring, my head is spinning with ideas... blackwork sleeves, cut-work collar/cuffs, braidwork for my fitted gown... good thing we have 20 sided dice around our house - I can leave it to chance to decide what to do first! lol
