My stuff has finally been delivered here!! it only took an entire month. but the point is its all here, and in good condition too. I've been able to get into the backyard and do some sword training, which is a welcome relief for me! I'm looking forward to getting into some kind of routine of getting onto the punching bag, and some swordwork, as i'm ( Read more... )

Sounds like a total backwater (and this from a Perthite!). Will it get better once the off-season is done? I'm guessing that there will be a lot more services available then.

Good that you and Shan seem to be getting along - no one has died yet. I'm still amused at the idea of you being all domesticated.

Conservative parents are fun. My mum was nearly in tears when I told her that she wouldn't be getting any grandchildren out of me. Of course, given the alternative (my brother), maybe it's little understandable :)

Train hard and come back all buff so you can reject more boys at the Court. It will be good for Steve's self esteem.... really, I'm not just encouraging you for my personal amusement.

I'm making with the sympathy, here - long-distance relationships suck big-time, but if you can work through them, you come out stronger. I hope this one works out for you and makes you happier than you ever thought you could be. *hug*

kill the small country townheads! i've been there, seen them meander around life.
for people who are used to having things 'just happen', yes, it's annoying, but something that you eventually get used to.

it's cute to hear about you and Steve. so cute!

say ... can you tell me how often you're training to jolt me back into doing some?
i've been ... a little than just a little slack about it recently :(

so far its been once a week on a sunday as thats all the time i've had really. so don't feel too bad! but i actually missed not having my sword in my hand. :)
