today I told someone that it's always darkest before the dawn, that it is everything before now that has brought him here, that one day his hard work will bring him to that place of his dreams whose name he does not know (even if he thinks he does).

Oh yes, I'm ever so sorry, the card made it safely here. Thank you so much! A card for you, on the other hand, is on my desk, waiting for me to be free of the chains of essay-writing which should happen quite shortly. My apologies; it's my last full semester at the university so the past weeks have been rather insane. (I just try to keep thinking about the German Christmas markets looming in my future...)
