Sequels?

So, yes, I'm very far behind on answering comments and reciprocating friendings and all of the general journal maintenance and there's not much chance of me catching up entirely tonight either. However, I wanted to put this out here now ( Read more... )

Nononono, darling, it's not that the endings aren't satisfying! It's that, brilliant conclusions though they are, the characters always seem perfectly changed/positioned for the promise of new and beautiful wacky hyjinx! I know this is probably small comfort since I'm probably one of the worst about the begging... but... but it's not that your endings aren't satisfying -- it's that you are made of such brilliance that no matter how much closure you offer I'm still almost guaranteed to be craving more. *sheepish grin ( ... )

I have to say it again: you are unbelievably lovely! And I am incredibly squeeful about the fact people actually do want more. I guess my problem always is that I think any resolution I write is unlikely to have the same punch as the potential for resolution. You know, just like horror is always scarier when you don't actually see the monster?

But anyway, enough rambling. Just thank you so so much for always giving my writerly ego a fantastic boost! ♥

But see, that's the problem. This would usually be the case, no? But your fic always takes the characters such wonderfully unpredictable places that no matter what the ending, I'm left convinced that there's more and it must a hundred times more brilliant than my brain could ever fill in.

Me too! I tried to think of how more of "The time Dean was Sam's girlfriend and Jess joined the family business" (or whatever the name is) would go... but... I just knew there was not a chance what I thought of would be as good as what she would write... and I want MORE.

(hee, so glad someone else already put in a vote for The Time Dean was Sam's Girlfriend -- I was trying so hard to keep myself to only one more request than allowed -- ummm, can I second this one also? *grin*)

I absolutely second this. I want more NOW. I tried to think of what could happen and it DEFINITELY wasn't as good as what I know Fleshflutter could come up with. *craves*

The endings of your stories do look perfectly satisfying to me. The problem is, they always suck me right into the story, and I'm all more-more-more!!! after I finish reading :) I'd really like to see a sequel to your bodyswap story - the dynamics between all characters (and esp. Dean & Jess) looked very intriguing. Thank you for writing that fic!

Well, the one where Dean swaps with Jess has definitely been my favourite fic I've read so far this month. But. If you post a sequel to the angsty porn you wrote recently... then I'll be able to read it. Hurrah. Because up until now my internal dialogue has been thus... "Don't read, it will upset you." "But I bet it's gooood" "DO you want to sleep or do you wnat to stay up all night pondering thinky!fic?" "But it's by fleshflutter..."

So. Resolve my internal conflict before it degenerates to fisticuffs and choose angsty porn!!!! (That should so be someone's slogan *g*)

Although I love the story the way it is, I would really adore one for The Old Gods Return, although, as others have mentioned, 500 words may not be enough in that case. :)

I don't whether it's a good thing or a bad, but I do seem to have found a way to write a sequel/resolution of sorts to that one in about 1000 words! Is this good writing or atrocious?! *g*

Well, I'm delighted to hear it, and can't wait to see how you'll accomplish such a thing. *g*
