I love this. Especially the caring touch you're giving Trey. Most fics make him the ultimate bad guy, just like the rest of the Atwood family (minus Ryan), but I don't think that he's really that cold towards Ryan, his own brother.

Which means that I already have it about half done.

I've been trying to keep some TreyWreck type qualities but I just can't bring myself to make him a real shit after everything else Ryan has been through. I'm giving him some shades of Frank's personality by having him be a little possessive and compulsive but not necessarily because it's genetic but rather more from environment and the way he grew up. But, I decided he needs one family member that's not completely toxic to him. I went over the top with Frank and Dawn hasn't been painted well at all in here so far so if/when she shows up she'll be the one that Ryan and the Cohens have to write off.

So, the Seth/Trey brother off was, well, off. Operation pick Trey's brain was on.

Sandy shakes his head and says, "You see in Trey what I saw in Ryan. That's why you're connecting with him. He reminds you of yourself."

I so glad Seth got a clue.
I don't forgive Caleb for the way he treated Ryan but he's being different now and Caleb helping Trey will be good for Ryan and the Cohens as well.
And it's a great place to end the update, perfect in fact.
