That would explain why I ran that text through http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ in every single language beginning with French and Italian and then German even though it didn't look like any of those languages. A few words were translated into English but the majority were left as is and I simply couldn't understand what language it could possibly be! :-) You're right, it does look like latin which is what I assumed it must be if it were not a completely nonsensical conglomeration of letters.
