Today was the Super Bowl.  This means several things for me.

- AMANDA, STOP IT! Fuck plot. What is plot and why do you need it? Twilight was a NY Times bestseller and the only plot there was, "It'd be pretty nice to have a boyfriend, even if I'm so desperate that I have to get a dead one." If you want a Xena plot, you do what all the other fic writers do and come up with some bogus Amazon love festival and call it a day.

- Also, There was the absolutely wonderful part where a player ACCIDENTALLY SCORED WITH HIS BUTT... XDDDDD. I SAW THAT! The replays were hilarious...almost as good as that M&M commercial, where the red one gets naked.

- I've volunteered to write/beta for so many bangs, it's ridiculous. It's something like paperlegends, xmenreversebang, and glomp-fest. I thought about sherlockrebang, but I'm not a masochist.

I twigged to the fact that the NFL is SOOOOO slashy about two years ago. It totally changed my Super Bowl watching experience. I posted to LJ about it, and each year since I make slashy tweets during the game (when I can, as long as we aren't partying with friends.) It's so much more fun watching when you're slashing!! I'm like you, not a football person. Not a sports person at all, really, though I appreciate the dedication required to be excellent. The Super Bowl is the only sports I watch all year, aside from the occasional random ice skating and the Olympics. It tickles me to see others say the same thing.
