Sale Post

Hi there,

Due to various issues, I need to clean out items from my collection which includes Doujinshi and other items. The doujinshi being listed were purchased in pairs where I would have one to collect and one to read. ( I do not know Japanese btw.) So the doujinshi that will be listed are New, sealed ( Unless noted otherwise.) untouched editions from various fandoms. Please check back here often for new books to be listed as I am in the middle of sorting and photographing.

FAQ: PLEASE READ ME FIRST!

Do I have to be over 18 to purchase the doujinshi or Yaoi anime or manga listed?.

The majority of the Doujinshi and Yaoi anime/manga is 18+ which means you need to be 18+! Please provide me with your full birthdate including year. No birthdate, no sale!

Are any of your items bootlegs or authentic ? .

All the items that are listed are authentic as I research and make sure I purchase from official stores.

Where did you get your doujinshi from? .

Various places.

Your entry where you are selling ( Name of Fandom) is sold out, will you be restocking that entry with new books ? .

If I do have any books from a fandom that isn't listed or sold out, I will listed them and place an advertisement on communities I feel are relevant to the items I am selling.

What currency is the prices listed?.

All items are listed in US Dollars

I want to purchase ( name of item) from you, how do I order? .

1. Comment on the entry with the following:

Name(s) of items:
Zip Code or Country:
Full Birthdate: MM/DD/YYYY ( if items are doujinshi or Yaoi related)
( If you are not a member of Livejournal, please provide me with a valid email address to contact you)

2. Once I have seen the entry I will put the items on hold and take them to the post office to get a proper shipping quote. I will also mark them as ON HOLD to ensure other customers know they are not available at this time.

3. Once I have received the quote, I will private message you with the information needed to pay for your order. Please consult with your journal's inbox ( If you do not see it in your messages screen, consult with your " Suspicious Message" as Livejournal might have seen it as SPAM.

4. From the date that I have sent your total to you, you have seven days from the time I have contacted you to pay for your item or tell me if you need an extension or can not afford it at this time.

( Example: If I have contacted you on a Thursday with the total, then you have until the following Thursday at Midnight ( EST) to either make a payment, tell me you need an extension, or say you can not afford it.)

Once that time passes and I check my inbox with receiving no message from you doing one of the three choices listed above. I will contact you to inform you that the item you reserved is going back up on sale. In other words: SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!

If you need more time and can not afford it, then that's fine as long as you give me a heads up to work with you or place the item back for sale. I am flexable but don't have time for B.S.

I saw an item but it was reserved by someone else, can I have dibs if the original bidder backs out? .

Yes, I will message you if you still want to purchase it if the original bidder back out

Do you accept international customers? .

Yes I ship internationally.

What method of payment do you accept? .

Payment is accepted through Paypal.

What is this whole " I will pay the fee" thing listed in your instructions when paying by Paypal? .

Paypal takes a fee for using their service out of the money that is sent to the seller. Sellers that I have conversed with has either adopted a method where they will provide instructions to buyers to cover the fee so that the seller received the amount quoted or the seller will consult with a site that offers to give them a quote on how much paypal will charge for their fee and insert it in the total. One method people were using to avoid this was the " Gift" option which waves the fee however, if the seller receives so many transactions using this method then Paypal I believe either warns you or freezes your account ( Heard various stories from sellers.) So sellers had to adopt this method to avoid having this issue.

I paid for my items, now what? .

Once I have confirmed payment, I will ship your package out and PM or email you.

What kind of shipping do you use to send out the packages? .

For US Based Customers, I usually use regular mail via USPS with Track and Confirm. I usually provide the customer with the code so that both myself and the customer can make sure the package arrives at the address provided. The price of the shipping is Weight of item by zipcode + track and confirm.

For International Customers: I use regular mail via USPS based on the weight of the package and where the item is going. There is no track and confirm for this method as it is the cheapest way to ship it.

I am an international customer and want to have the option of track and confirm, is that possible? .

I can get a quote for you but my understanding is that the price of shipping would go up because it's more rather than just doing via regular mail.

Can you explain why the shipping cost is what you quote? .

Yes I can. I use a bubble wrap insulated envelope like this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/JLightstar/IMG135.jpg

I use them to provide a layer of security on your items while they are being shipped.

The example that I have shown in the link is usually the one I use on most of my orders. However, if you have purchased something small like a manga book, then I go for a smaller sized envelope. If the item is larger, then I go with a larger size or if it doesn't fit, then I have to get a box with peanuts to keep contents from being damage.

The Post office then take the envelope with the item inside and weighs it, then uses either the zip code or country to determine the price of shipping ( I am using USPS btw.)

For US customers, I make track and confirm MANDATORY on all packages so you and I can prevent any confusion on where your package is.

Track and Confirm is not available through USPS on International orders.

My package is lost, never arrived or still in customs, can I get my money back? .

In the matter of International Customers,I do not have any control what happens to your package once I have shipped it. Give it some time and hopefully it will arrive. If it doesn't then there is nothing I can do. You paid for an item and I sent out the item. I have fulfilled my part of the transaction. So the answer is no.

In the matter of US Based Customers, I provided you with a track and confirm code which should prevent any packages being lost in the mail.

Why is one of your items on your entries linked to an auction on Ebay? .

Because some items may have been sitting on my store for a bit and listing them on Ebay will be a last ditch effort to get it sold before I take it down if it doesn't sell there.
