Dance demos
Hum. It seems that I'm going to be doing three difference dance demonstrations, with three different ladies, with three different dance styles, in mid-September. These will be at a dinner at the Athenaeum faculty club, and a demo for the pre-frosh at a hotel in Ventura Beach. colored pp ball
For the past year, possibly longer, I've had a persistent to-do item in my Treo's calendar which says "colored pp ball." I keep it there in the hopes that someday I'll look at it and realize why in the world I jotted that down. I think I'm finally going to delete it, though.
Do you guys have any ideas on what it could mean? ;) -

Wired article: Voice Chat Can Really Kill the Mood on WoW
I bet somebody could make a fair amount of money by creating software that performed pitch modification specifically designed to make people sound like less of a dork while using voice chat in online games. -

Invite to Foo Camp 2007
Looks like I got an invite (via Chris) to Foo Camp 2007, which will be June 22-24 in Sebastopol (near San Francisco). For those of you unfamiliar with it, I've heard that it's sort of like Burning Man for nerds, with 200-250 techies gathering together to hold an 'unconference' on emerging technologies.
