Played with one at work (though the purchaser didn't actually buy it from us; we sold out in 15 seconds). The controller is extremely sensitive and is heftier than I thought, but it was really hard to use. There aren't even any games I'd consider killer apps yet (Smash Bros. Online, if it were to exist, would be one).

That's kind of funny, because I thought the controller was *ridiculously easy* to use. I've played Wii Sports and Red Steel.

To be fair, I wasn't exactly in a typical situation using the Wii. The sensor bar was dwarfed by the projector screen it sat beneath, meaning that players had to hold the controller a bit lower than what would be comfortable. Maybe playing on a more traditional TV would be better.

I desperately want one. I haven't tried it yet, but my brother got one at launch, and he says it's everything he'd hoped -- "I didn't think it could really be this good. The remote is like a magic wand of fun," were his exact words. I haven't talked to him about it extensively as he's been, err, preoccupied ;) I get to try it when I'm home for Thanksgiving, though!
