1600 words of SPN/SW and counting.  And I am having just too much fun.  Anybody out there into both Supernatural and Star Wars that might consider betaing eventually?  Also, anybody out there know if there are any SPN/SW icons or anything of the like?  Sam and Dean having a lightsaber fight would be AWESOME.  Right?  Right?

Yeah, but not as much as your fiance, so really, what does that say about you??

Also, YES.

I'd volunteer, but my knowledge of Star Wars is incredibly sparse. I know enough to not get me kicked out of geek society, but not enough to remember character's name or basic plot lines. I did however, love the Ewok Adventure when I was a little kid.

Good luck though, and I'll definitely read it when you post it, despite my lack of SW knowledge.

And I'm pretty sure I've seen crossover icons before. I think I saw one with Dean and a lightsabre... but I have no idea where. They do exist though!

Thanks anyway. :-)

Yeah, I feel like I've seen such an icon, too, but ages ago. I'll keep looking...

Also, the Ewok Adventure? YES. Weren't there two movies? I think I saw them in a cheap DVD set at Wally world one time... Should have purchased them. *smacks self*

I don't know. I just know there was a little blonde girl named "Crystal", and she went on an adventure with some Ewoks. She had curly hair and there was a flying contraption. I loved it so much, I wanted my parents to name my baby sister Crystal because obviously that was the coolest name ever. It was Ewok-approved! *g*

Yes! IMDB says the second one was Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, and that her name was "Cindel" apparently. That was some quality stuff right there.

(I know my Star Wars. I own like 70 of the novels.)

Excellent! You're hired! To be honest, I'm shooting for about 10,000 words before I show anything to anyone. Are you willing to take on something long?

I myself own a few of the books...my favorites are "I, Jedi" by Stackpole and the X-wing series...but I haven't really read one in a long time so it might be interesting...

Anyway, let me know what you think!

It'll be my first time, but it sounds like a great distraction from this stupid article on plagues in Livy that I'm supposed to be writing. I'll do my best.

By some kind of fortunate coincidence, the X-Wing series, Isard's Revenge and I, Jedi are my favorites (Corran and Wedge are my favorite characters) - and some of the ones I actually have on my shelf right now.

Well, I can't distract you just yet. Maybe next weekend some time, depending on how well the rest of it flows.

Yeah Corran and Wedge! I think Stackpole's work is really the best out there for Star Wars. I found myself really getting bored with a lot of the other stuff. I do like Jacen in The New Jedi Order; I thought his storyline was probably the most interesting...although I heard he's evil now?
