- Dorset Cereals are nice, if a bit expensivo.

- Garageband for the iPad is at first impression just a toy but a whole lot of fun. Many hours will probably be wasted making music on it that no-one would want to hear.

mmmkay.. I love Apple stuff, it is normally not cutting edge in terms of piles of features but designed with a lot of thought about how non-geeks, 'mundanes' in Babylon 5 speak, will be using it. I can see that there is a little totalitarian streak, as is the case with whoever has a perfect one solution for all evils. And I like Apple most of all while it is only less than 10% of the market in personal computers. It would be scary if they had the monopoly that Microsoft used to have. Yes, they do control a lot of the legal music download market but there is still more competition there and all of them compete against torrents and the like. which have the very attractive quality of being free.
