China Rich Girlfriend
Joe enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians and bought the 2nd and 3rd books, and I just finished the 2nd book: China Rich Girlfriend, by Kevin Kwan. It's been over 6 months since I read Crazy Rich Asians, so I had some trouble remembering who was who.
Here are some highlights:
- Astrid bidding $100 million on art and then digging super saver coupons out of her purse.
- Xin nian kuai le (very exciting to see some Chinese that I knew without checking the footnote!)

- word got out that six of China’s biggest weapons of mass consumption were in town
