I recently read the eleven entries in last year's qaf_darefic challenge. All were good, but one completely blew me away - Haunted by equusentric.

It's an utterly heartbreaking and beautifully written death fic. If you can handle angst of this magnitude, you won't be disappointed.

theredwepainted has written one of the best fics I've read in this fandom. It alternates between Michael and Justin POV, and it's all about Brian.

Fair warning - it's not a light-hearted romp. It is, however, a brilliant piece of writing.

Desideratum

dontyouwaitup has written another amazing fic. She originally wrote it for the dare_challenge, but finished late.

In her post, she speculates that it might not have fit the challenge, but I've just read it and can unequivocally say, Oh yes. Oh yes, it would have.
