love wally's thought process throughout the whole fic but especially at the beginning-when he jumps from 'shit why me' to 'damn, am i being homophobic' XD and the observation about mark's two modes - eerily calm or hysterical, yeah i can see that :) nice bit of fic!

I confess I'm not at all certain about Mark's characterisation, and neither, I suspect, are many Flash writers - he has a bit of backstory angst, he possibly reads Mark Twain, he occasionally has a bit of a psychotic break. Idek. Cold is much easier.

despite always being around, mark doesn't usually garner that much attention when compared to the other guys. i completely agree with you about cold being easy to write with-my characterization for him came together before i even noticed it! the only thing i'd add to your list of mark-traits is a touch of selfish arrogance :)

Wally means well. He always means well. But we all have our moments of ingrained un-PCness to struggle with. And to be fair, he probably wouldn't react all that differently if it was Captain Cold with a girl.

Oh, I know Wally means well, it was just cute. Very IC (oh Wally, you were so classy when you ran from Piper). And the bit with Cold was also amazing.

We so need more non-Piper/trickster Rogues slash. (and we need more slash. And more Rogues).

It was very fun and well written, and to have it all from Wally's point of view was a great idea.

Loved it all! But this: "You know," Wally says, "I think I'm going to go look for... some other Rogues. Mirror Master, maybe. Or the Trickster. I bet his hijinks are family friendly." = best part ever. I laughed out loud. :D

Very funny! Poor Wally doesn't know what to do with himself or where to look. I like the way Cold was outraged over the idea he would force himself on Mark. Interesting pairing.
