Geoff Johns writing Piper is always, uh. An experience.

I've never really had a problem with it, but he's not one of my absolute favourites so that could explain it.

He just has a serious case of Break The Cutie when it comes to that character. I personally am not super attached to Piper but he is the most high-profile gay male character at DC so I get sort of protective in a political sense.

Plus if Johns tortures him any more dullscythe will have a fit.
