To be honest, I don't really know what to say about Fall Out Boy's break(up). I'm not surprised, but it doesn't make it a whole lot easier. They were a big part of my life for a number of years and I honestly wish them all the best in whatever endeavours they choose to proceed with, whether it's other music or family or something new all together.

Whaaaat, FOB broke up? I am so far removed from anywhere that might feed me this sort of information. I just, what? This breaks my heart D:

And yesssss. I am totally heartbroken. It's all kind of up in the air at the moment as to whether they're just on a hiatus or if it's over forever. It seems to be amicable though, and on friendly terms which is a good sign. I think they're all just distracted by other things - Andy and Joe are in a new band together, Patrick has a solo project and Pete's got a family + music for the new Alice in Wonderland with Mark Hoppus. So I don't know. I'm still hopeful that we'll see them get back into the studio or at least tour together again at some point in the future.

I'm kind of glad not to be in Bandom anymore, TBQH.

That probably does help, lol. I'm nowhere near as involved in bandom as I was, but I still occasionally dabble back into it. I mean, I haven't posted anything I've written for it in a long while, but I do write for it still a bit. I don't know. The break(up) has made me nostalgic for it as well. *sigh* I'll recover. It's been a dying fandom for a while it seems.

Yeah, it does. And yeah, it since P!ATD broke up and FOB first went on break, there hasn't been much for people to write about, I guess - they seemed to be the most popular bands. It is weird though - it was my first Livejournal fandom, so it'll be weird not to have it anymore.
