“I’m not a good person.” She says, face pale and eyes darker then he’s ever seen.
“I know.” He replies, even though they both know he’s lying. In the great green eyes of a hopeless admirer, she’s never been anything less than wonderful.
“You don’t know.” The girl says, controlled and deep. Always in control, always strong and vacant and cruel. “You never know.”
And she’s right of course, but he won’t say it. He doesn’t think on that level.
They’re 19 now, with petite bodies and soulful eyes. People say they’re still young, but neither of them quite believe that.
“You don’t know me.” She says, hands maybe, almost shaking, but perhaps it’s a trick of the light.
“I’d like too.”
“No, you wouldn’t.” She says, but they kiss anyway. Simply because.
