Do you know why sunsets are red? Light is made up of several different colors, and among them all red is the one that travels the furthest.

Wow, I don't think anyone's figured all that stuff out yet on my world.

People write poetry about the changing seasons, and the ephemerality of the changing leaves... But not the changing components that make it happen.

I think this is why we don't have 'plumbing' yet! They really need to get on that at home!

But why does the chlorophyll move in the winter?

Man, really? So what is your world like?

But you know how animals hibernate in the winter? It's the plant's way of getting ready for the winter, too. There's usually not enough light or water for photosynthesis. So the trees will rest, and live off the food they stored during the summer. Just like the animals.
