OH GODS DO I KNOW THAT ONE remember when billy escaped his ball during cage cleaning and hid under the shower for days! (no not billy the roommate but billy the degu!) and of course i have had this happen with cats and such too. it is amazing though how when you finally get them back that they allow you to hold them so even if they hate it normally. i think they are happy to get back to something familiar too. i know in the case of the degu he was happy to get back to food and warmth and water but his roomate Alex decided to take him for a test drive after his absence.
