Cookiepocalypse update/progress report!

So, since my past post, I have spent a minimum of 7 hours a day on cookies, and I'm still not done. I might finish by this weekend. But I thought I'd take a short break and post my progress

The collective we, ie Ste, zan and Zan-lings, are good. The little boy broke a tap yesterday ... aaaargh! so now I have to go about looking for a new one

The Boy is lucky, by which I mean, away at a conference this week from Tuesday to Sunday, which means that he has a respite from cookies ^^; My hope is to spend all of tomorrow evening and Saturday, and most of Sunday, and finish it.

Then I will grade like the wind ^^;

Wow, your life sounds just a little overwhelming right now ^^; It's hard enough watching your kids grow up, I imagine; it can't help when the side effects are also somewhat traumatic-it's hard to know what to discipline and how in those circumstances, I would guess *hugs*

And with all that going on, even something like a minor household repair would just put me over the top >_*hands you a nice cup of virtual sympathy tea

Arrrgh--one of my Ohmiya SK Ohnos lost an arm today; I don't even know how--so I'll be making a set of those again. I guess that means there's no reason not to make the Ohmiya sets people want ^^;

I'd be happy to send you an Ohmiya set! One of the Ohnos even lost an arm today, so I'll be baking up some new ones this weekend anyway ;/

As for the donations, sure! Any tsunami-ish fundraiser you feel good about would be fine ^_^v And I trust you on it, but if you just want to email me a screencap, I guess we could do that . . . Do you think you'll want to eat them, or should I try the shiny stuff? (Since I'm going to be baking tomorrow or Thursday, anyway; I'll just do them at the same time as the TABOO cookies, which also have custom shapes. )

Trust me; After a while, you get a little tired of being hunched ^^; Though honestly, minor setbacks aside, it is lots of fun, particularly when they turn out well ^_^v

I hope to have them all finished by this weekend, and should be able to mail them (or most of them, anyway) by Monday \o/ This is my hope, anyway ^_^ I need to get back to grading and such ^^;

ooooooh, massage! You have no idea what my back and neck feel like lately. I wouldn't want to start a rumor, but I think I might be getting old ^^;
