Just so you aren't confused,
lockability are currently in the midst of a JE costumes Hall of Shame picspam war. In other words, just a friendly exchange of visual abuse.
Locky has graciously ceded me the territory of Arashi (since it's all I really have knowledge of ^^").
Like Nino and Jun, we abuse out of love&hearts
We've agreed to start out at a moderate level of cracktabulousness, but who knows how long that will last.
My first attack! Pimp Cowboys of DOOOOM!Locky's response: A jungle ate KAT-TUN and then dressed them up in . . . dresses. MS 04/21/2000
First, I would like to state for the record that it is inherently impossible to look angsty, hardcore or badass while wearing Uncle Sam outfits:
This does not, however, mean that Arashi won't try:
And try:
. . .
and try:
OK, so here's the breakdown of the concept:
Uncle Sam has lost his hat and his hook-over-the-ears white beard. Looks shocked and horrified, doesn't he?
Luckily, he still has his boxy 'stars and stripes' Jacket, gleaned from Goodwill, and decorated with the cheapest pseudo-sequined fabric from Wal-Mart.
Seriously--One of the really odd things about JE costumes from this period, is how cheap they look. What's even odder is that I swear the Jrs' costumes look better-fitting, better-constructed . . . just . . . better:
I know which one I would choose, given the option . . .
You know what these costumes need? More stars!
A-and . . . more stripes!
I know! How about stars on stripes?
And a none-too-subtle 'southern' version:
I mean, are you kidding me??
Suspenders. Bandana (left wrist). Overalls. Umm . . . Confederate flag motif? Idek. Really. Just . . . really?
I'm not surprised that several members spend most of this performance finding creative ways to hide their faces ^^"
For example, the ever-popular "hand in front of the face" technique:
>
Requiring a bit more flexibility and commitment, Nino's variation: "foot in front of the face:"
Nino also, as shown above, favors the "distract them with ass shots" tactic:
Jun is so damn happy he got an actual shirt to wear this time, and a pretty much normal one, that he doesn't even mind the rest of the ensemble:
And Aiba, as we know, is pretty much immune to shame, which is an invaluable talent when one works for JE:
Sho looks for guidance from a higher power: how long will he have to wait before he regains his dignity?
He will not like the answer to this question.
Hmmm . . . this one was kind of short, but I think you get the idea . . . and it's 8:30pm, and I haven't had lunch yet, much less dinner.
Locky, I leave the next stage in your capable hands.
