relaxing, oppressive summer

When I was younger -- and especially in high school -- I abhorred any sort of physical activity that could possibly make me break a sweat. (The only exceptions were water sports, because I've always loved the water; anyway, one is less likely to get sweaty when one is already wet.) It is, of course you know, no longer Yards Brewery (nor did it ever have an apostrophe, but that's not my point).

Did I mention that to you? A friend from the Farmstand passed the rumor on to me a couple weeks ago, at the Farm to City fundraiser for which I dragged Dan down from NYC.

I'm not sure whether I'd already read it online before you mentioned it or I heard it from you. (I don't think we talked about it that night...)

In any case, all the bar taps still say Yards, and there's some stock of bottles still available, but it's rather unclear where things go from here.

Joanna! I am sitting in the lab at 1:30am on Friday night, waiting for a machine to stabilize so that I can get some samples running, and SQUEELING because I check in on you after some ridiculous length of not doing so and you are BIKING and working with FARMER'S MARKETS.
