learning things

I've been spending my days at work typing deposition testimony (about a defamation case with honest-to-goodness confidential sources! -- but the typing is so boring!) and poking at the internet a lot; I've been spending my evenings with friends. So, a brief summary of things I've discovered over the last three days.

That's not what I meant, and I don't think gratuitous crudity is funny.

dude, if you think a serious suggestion of intercourse as something "challenging and exercising" is "gratuitous crudity", then your notions of propriety belie you as much more American than your vociferous façade.

not to mention your censoring of things that you don't like. but why reply to it if you're just going to delete it? now no one knows what you're talking about.

I recommment not trying parkour. :-) (Because, having read some interviews and such, it can actually be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, and sometimes even if you do.)

Well, I would certain not try that -- or any potentially dangerous sport -- by myself, or without an experienced person as a teacher/coach!

Celebrity sightings at the UPenn gym! Where 'celebrity' is defined as 'Swarthmore '05 alumni', heh. (This would've been, I think, Tues. am.)

::spreads hands in huge shrug:: I have no idea who the artists are, or what the songs are. Watch the movie and hear for yourself! :)

Dill is based on Capote as a child. There were rumors that Capote ghostwrote much of Mockingbird, but those are probably false for a variety of reasons.

Philadelphia isn't a small city---try running into Swatties north of Lehigh, south of Washington, or west of 52nd.

So I've discovered, during my research subsequent to seeing the movie; I never liked Dill.

Philadelphia isn't a small city

This is the same discussion I always have with entropydevice. When I say 'Philadelphia is a small city', what I really mean (and I admit I'm being imprecise in my original phrasing) is that 'Philadelphia has a small central area'. And, since I'm never that far north, south, or west...::shrug:: heh.
