I'd actually decided to take part on Saturday, but I'm just now getting around to posting about it. Got my copy an hour ago. It's a Penguin "20th Century Classics" edition, weighing in at 760 pages.

760 / 30 = 25

That's totally doable.

Judging from the first 16 pages, one page of this book is like two to three of a normal book. And I hear it only gets worse.

You'd be surprised at how much 25 pages can feel like.

my reading rate of fairly normal fiction is about fifty pages a day.
