My first reaction to that is to be all "damn folks, I guess I need to try that", but who am I kidding? It sounds atrocious.

Well, this was a rosemary & chocolate ganache inside a chocolate shell made by a local (to Portland) dessert place. It wasn't just me fuckin' around in the kitchen. But yeah, it sounds really weird. Tastes really good.

oh man. there's a spot around here that has every herb/fruit/nut/spice truffle flavour imaginable. some are total flops, others unpredictably awesome. like lime and chili powder, yum.

Chocolate and hot go well together. JP has (had?) a recipe for brownies with cayenne that's teh bestest. (I'd guess you could get the effect by just throwing a teaspoon of cayenne in a normal sized batch of brownies.) Lime and chocolate, though? Crazy!

Er, JP has (had?) a recipe on that one site. Can't remember what the node title is, though.

I'm thinking we should all agree on some sneaky euphemism for that one site, to avoid the hushed tones and darting glances whenever it comes up in conversation. That shit'll land you an NSA wiretap.
