"Seeing Clearly" - 100 word drabble - Wesley's POV, rated G, set in the summer between AtS s3 and s4

Aug 06, 2004 16:35

I've had this idea in my head since I read some interview a long while ago where (I think it was) AD said that Wesley had had Lasik surgery on his eyes between AtS s3 and s4, hence him no longer wearing glasses. I found that concept fascinating for some reason, and I finally wrote this drabble today so that it would stop poking at me.

Thank you very much. :) Last lines are key in drabbles, and they're usually what I get first.

Nice =)

And if memory serves me right, it was at a con in the UK. Alexis apparently joked about how Wes might have had surgery, but he still needed glasses. LASIK was the obvious option.

Thanks luv. Hoping to have it tat'd on my back for my birthday next month. Rising out of the fire..yeah. That's me. A thousand times over it seems.

Today's the day the boys come home. At least for a short time. Xander to pack, Hunter for the weekend before he goes to Texas for a week.

I'm feeling a bit...numb. Like one by one my switches are being flipped off.

Yet tears seem to be standing there, at attention, waiting for the okay to fall.

Fuck. I'm writing too much these days, LOL.

Stupid black hole of words.

*hugs you hard* I'll be thinking of you. I'm not surprised you're overloaded, overwhelmed, and a bit numb. There's so much going on.

Writing is a good way to get our your emotions in a more controlled environment than RL. I'm glad you've got the outlet. :)

Loved this -- great turn of a detail into something more significant.
