Thanksgiving will always be a holiday that makes me quote Buffy. Although we didn't have yams this year, so I couldn't say, "It is a sham, but it's a sham with yams. It's a yam sham." I did get to mention ritual sacrifice with pie, at least, so it's all good ( Read more... )

Happy Thanksgiving

my dear flaming muse. Hope you had a nice family day. Over here in Germany today was just another Thursday, nothing special, except that today Freddy Mercury has been dead for 25 yeras (oh my God, is it really that long ?!?) and so the whole day long my radio station played Queen-Songs :-D That is really something to thank for. So many wonderful songs from such an exceptionally gifted man, who has sied much too young.

By the way I had the honour to visit his house in London in October when I visited my daugther. I left a rose there. <3 <3

Oh, gosh, there will never be another person like him. I'm glad he was celebrated today, but I'm so sorry he is gone.
