I attempt as best I can to keep my RL political activities outside of fandom so that I preserve some sort of refuge for myself... but I'm so sick and angry and disgusted and scared that I couldn't even put it into words if I wanted to.

So, let me just say that I'm watching The Crown on Netflix and am absolutely enchanted by Matt Smith as the Duke

I understand.

I share your fear and nausea and anger and disgust. I spent Wednesday in waves of crying or anger. Now I just feel drained.

My friends are going through similar emotions. I don't know if this will bring you any comfort whatsoever, but I just sent this quote to a friend of mine, in honor of the late Leonard Cohen:
