1) I am introducing my family to Community, and I am questioning my marriage, because (only a few episodes in) mr. muse's favorite character thus far is Pierce. O.O It's probably just because he recognizes Chevy Chase. But... Pierce? Really?

On the other hand, the museling loves Abed, so clearly he has excellent taste

Give Mr Muse at least a season before you judge him on his Pierce love. Early-Pierce isn't as bad -- racist, homophobic, and belligerent, but he sort of got nastier about things as the show went on.

Yeah, I still hate Pierce from the start, I'm afraid, but I'm sure mr. muse will cool on him as time goes on.
