1) Do you like to laugh? Did you see Glee 3x15 ("Big Brother")?

Then go read stoney321's hilarious "We'll Call You" - Glee gen centered on a guest character from that episode. I'm not saying any more because I don't want to spoil people who haven't seen it, but OMG it made me laugh. Also, she knows what she's talking about. (But come back after, ( Read more... )

Oh, poor Blaine - this is just so heartbreaking... (In a good way!) Thank goodness we've got the advantage of knowing what comes next. :-)

Great gapfiller - thanks for sharing!

OH NO EVERYTHING HURTS

Your pieces are always packed with bucketfuls of emotion, and you always handle plot points and characterizations with such care, such nuance that I wish so badly the show itself was even remotely capable of. My heart absolutely broke for Blaine here, that even his safest place in the entire universe has been leeched into by all the terrible associations he's made re: Cooper. I reared back in my seat when Kurt wondered about Blaine looking more like Cooper, omg, that was like a punch in the gut. /o\ It soothed my heart that Kurt then followed it up with casually saying that he'll be around to see it happen, but obviously it flew right over Blaine's head, and I felt so so bad for him. That little internal tailspin he went on felt so real, his running mental tally of all his flaws and insecurities just playing in a loop, OH NO SOMEONE HUG HIM PLEASE AND TELL HIM THAT HE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN HE THINKS HE IS THAT HE IS TALENTED AND SWEET AND WONDERFUL AND SO LOVED and and and ;_________;

Thank you SO much; you've said such lovely things to me!

I knew people were going to pillory me/Kurt over that line about Blaine's face maturing into something more like Cooper's, LOL. But OMG if Blaine is a teenager his face IS going to change, and Kurt knows they're both so dreamy now, so Blaine could be MORE dreamy in the future! As you saw, Kurt didn't mean it as badly as it sound, but wow I both laughed and cringed as I wrote it.

Poor Blaine. I'm glad his emotions came through for you; I was very interested in what he was feeling and why beneath the more comedic tone of much of the episode, so that's what I had to write. At least the episode ends hopefully? :)

OMG That was heartbreaking. It made me laugh at the beginning, with Finn needing stitches one time but only the glue kind, but then it got steadily more and more tense as it went along until I wanted to take up hitting punching bags along with Blaine. Augh. Excellent work. Killer last line.

Thank you! I can see why the boy took up boxing; it wasn't just because he was beaten up at the Sadie Hawkins dance, as far as I'm concerned.

Definitely. He was singing "Thanks for making me a fighter" about Cooper, after all, not his school bullies.

Well, yes, obviously, but also that I think he had a lot of anger in him that he needed to express even before he came out. Not just being an actual fighter but needing to get his feelings out.
