You can tell the holidays are arriving by the way people are rushing all over the place, eager to get the last good deal available. It's maddening, really, to see what should be considered civilized human beings brought down to near animal instincts of gnashing teeth at fellow shoppers or stampeding others to get a bargain ( Read more... )

Are you serious? I always thought the point of Christmas shopping was having an excuse not to act civilized... I love having an exuse to flip out in public, even though I do it anyway whether I have an exuse or not.

Did I mention my "Chipmunk Carol" imitation is pretty awesome?

As if we don't see 'what should be considered civilized human beings' acting like animals all year round. You know, like traffic jams or shopping sprees.

I'm not going to tweak about some stupid lights and a tree, Roy. ...There's a stocking for the cat?

Yeah... Those three words in the same sentence do seem strange... Kind of surreal, isn't it?
