After going to Mindy's and checking on Picky, he's kind of been just...wandering. Aimlessly. Kicking at the snow and looking at the sky. Eventually, he ends up running into Shana, and goes over. Especially when he sees her expression.

God. He is feeling...not emotional, but...generous, today, he supposes.]

[flameyedhunter]

Pokey? [ She blinks, and scowls a bit, remembering his phone call. ]

That friend of yours.... I'm sorry I wasn't able to help. Is Picky okay?

[He looks down a moment at that, shrugging.]

...You don't need to apologize. I couldn't do crap either.

Picky's fine, yeah.

That's good, at least. [ She looks down at the photo in her hands. Why did she receive this back, instead of other abilities, or food... or anything, really. ]

[Kyon notices her from a distance... Dare he approach? I mean, after everything from that event that just ended, well... awkward.

[ Shana is just quiet for a long time looking at him. Not like Yuki's silence though. There are a hundred emotions in her face, she just can't voice them. She doesn't want to. She just clutches the picture in her hand. ]

[Normally, Kyon would have a plethora of thoughts going through his mind at any one time. However, this isn't normally. And those two words pretty much sum up everything he needs to know right now.]

I'll be all right. [ She half turns away from him. ]

[Suddenly, there's a scarf, still warm from someone's body heat, wrapped about Shana's neck.]

Huh? [ Shana blinks, looking very confused. ]

You looked like you could use that, ze.

[Say the recently landed witch with her broom leaning against her shoulder.]

I got... yeah. [ She snuggles into the scarf without finishing.]

[Yes. Because Minato has the perfect present for sad girls in snow. Homemade cookies.]

[ Shana takes and starts eating them without a verbal response. ]

[And seeing her happily eat makes him smile. Probably for the first time in days.]
