Maybe it's me but I didn't think I needed LJ to actually break apart my User Info page like I'm an idiot. It's bloody hideous. On top of the mandatory pop up window of making a selection for a new feature (which I'm ignoring at this point) and I'm feeling even less enchanted with this place

Haven't really been around. The last couple of weeks have just been so chaotic that I really needed some me time.

How is the art coming? I really like that you made your piece an icon.

Did you know that if you click on the arrows, the info bits fold up? And that that folded-up change will stay that way, regardless of whose profile you might be looking at?

It is incredibly useful if you are going through a lot of profiles at the same time, or if you are one of those who care less about scrolling through all the bio info just to get to the friends list.

At least, that is how it works for me...

I saw that it's collapsible, I just can't figure out why they would change it the way they did. Much less claim to have spent hundreds of hours on it. It's visually unappealing and for a site that touts one of it's highlights being customizable journals, why not make the user profile more customizable...

Yesh! It's also creating the usual drama as all changes do but I'm inclined to think that this time the user base has got it right.

It just looks sloppy. I would think that with the jacking of the rates for a permanent account that they would want to at least present a polished look.
