Remixes: I just don't get 'em

Sorry Adam. I love you, and just as I suspected would happen, I have grown to truly love "Better Than I Know Myself". And the video kicks ass. But I still have never met a remix of anything that I liked anywhere near as much as the original or even thought was worth the disk space investment to keep

Thanks hon. I guess I just always prefer original music, done as the writers/artists intended. The remixes bug me in a way similar to the reaction I have to elevator music (i.e. The Beatles as done in an insipid arrangement by Lame String Orchestra #4734), though not quite as badly.

I use faster/dance music for exercise too, but stuff that was recorded that way to begin with.

I can take them or leave them, although there was a remix about 10 years ago by Shaggy who used Steve Miller's The Joker music - I actually liked that quite a bit.
