Who will be the first to give Draco perfect pitch?

:D

25 hours!

Generous. Counting from when you posted? It's so already being written.

Oh, I'm sure! The countdown was for when I see the movie again. :)

I would gladly see the movie over for nothing more than the scene of the boys in their dormitory, eating sweets and making animal sounds. That made me really happy.

Me too! I think that was my favorite scene. DORM!!!

So then he tried a few jazz standards instead, and later, Remus bought a gramophone... possibly in self-defence.

*hearts you*

The Marauder's Map was great - I could never work out a visual for it in my head, but this really worked for me.

Yes, yes - wasn't it cool?

Very, very cool. I'm amazed that Harry made it to Hogsmeade - if anyone had given me something like that, I would just have sat down and stared at it for hours. :)

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ditto :D

You picked out all the best parts. And, yes, I felt like writing Cuaron a love letter just for the Map because, whew, it made no sense to me as just one flat sheet, but I couldn't seem to get my non-math-loving brain around anything 3-D.

It just never occurred to me, though I spent lots of time wondering about it, and also about how it could be big enough, as a single piece of parchment. Bless whoever's lateral thinking was behind the origami!map.

And somehow I now associate that with Draco's little love letter crane. Folded paper, full of secrets. Nothing here is quite what it seems.
