Hi, Monday. Nice to meet you. - I thought I would have to wait a while after my first surgery date was cancelled, but things moved unexpectedly swiftly and I went in last week. Yay for getting things done. Now I recline on my couch, mostly, and watch s4 of Buffy, and have a close relationship with a variety of painkillers, and am doing pretty well

Aw, Sam! Thank you. That smile never fails to make me happy. And I had some loopy thoughts about big_bang while on the couch; I just hope I can remember them.

By now, definitely mostly okay! I mean, I wouldn't say no to a miraculous instant recovery, but the one I've got going seems to be heading in the right direction. :)

It wasn't until I cut back on the painkillers that I realized how well they had been working. *g* Once again I'm grateful to be alive now, not a hundred or a thousand years ago.

They did! Like a very loopy, mostly-horizontal queen. :) And it's very nice to read about you being up and around and active again. Something to strive for. :)
