Yes, that fandom listing does say Star Wars: The Phantom Menace/Georgette Heyer. No, it's not a crossover, more of a fusion, sort of. Yes, I'm probably crazy. ( Yes, there is an explanation, but you can totally skip it )

See, this? This makes me insanely happy, and I haven't even started reading yet. Your quote from Friday's Child really made me nostalgic for Heyer stories, and I bet that this will deliver. Not even reading the story yet - just the premise and then the chat had me smirking (can't laugh out loud, would scare the work colleagues) Shall save pleasure of reading for end of the week from hell.

*grins back* I hope the week from hell isn't too utterly hellish.

I tried some SPN early on, but it is not the show for me. I'm a very easily frightened person who doesn't do well with even vaguely scary things (I still don't know how I coped with XF all those years *g*).

7th level of - hellish....

(nods comfortingly) There is an underlying myth arc and family relationship which come to the fore near end s1 and what I've seen of s2, which is actually better than the urban myth angle. If M reads this, expect package of carefully crafted clips and snippets - she's mailing me memory sticks of it. Although how she thought I wouldn't notice the N'Sync slipped in there, I'll never know!
Besides, I still have a blue blankie... ;-)

This made his presence something of an event, and nearly all the students who had reached a suitable age to become a padawan hoped to draw his gaze somehow, and the more confident ones even dared to hope that they might be solicited for a sparring session, and that this sparring session might eventually lead to forming a more intimate connection.
