Popslash/SGA: Cold

Jan 02, 2006 20:41

For without_me, who suggested a Poptarts outtake and the keywords bruise and cold. This isn't an outtake exactly, and more inspired by the weather outside than the grimness of the keywords, I have to admit. *g*

JC Chasez, intrepid scientist, is kidnapped. )

poptarts, crossovers, sga, popslash, fiction

Hooray! No, I mean, HOOOOOORAY!

This was great. I love this JC, and the way he constantly gets himself into trouble, but with the best intentions.

Thank you! :) I do, too - he doesn't mean for all this stuff to happen. It just does. *g*

hey, hqappy birthday!!!! (or so my flist has informed me :-)

i'm still pondering your comment on presence/absence of the original universe participants for it to be a fusion...at the moment i'm going for a continuum with xovers on the one hand and fusion on the other...of course then there's the entire crossover continuum where we have ATG's meet in a bar on the one hand and full merging of universes on the other (and the lopsided namecheck or random appearance ones somewhere in the middle...i think i need rodney and a multidimensional graph here...help!!! :-)

hope you had a great one!!!

Thank you! :)

Oh, I think we could plot it out on just two axes, crossover to fusion on the X and random appearance to full merging on the Y, say. If we could agree on what's what. *g*

That was admorable. This was my favorite bit:

"JC went back in again and stood next to the stove, which was warmer, on the whole, than standing next to the tree, because he could stand closer without setting himself on fire."

Heeeeee. More JC in Atlantis! Make him rescue McKay so McKay can be excessively grouchy about it! Or something. Just. Moooore. *g*

Oh, McKay would just die. I'm not sure I can be that mean to him. *g* So glad you liked it!

Oh, marvelous x1000. I love this JC so much. And then there's just the beauty and rhythm of the words. I could live inside this universe.

Oh...

Oh...

Oh...

This is worrying! I have been resisting popslash for years, and SGA for months (not resisting the actual slash one bit) and you could convert me to both if you just keep writing stories like this...

Please. Stop now. You wouldn't want to tempt me away from the straight and narrow, would you? Would you?

Would you?

I think that's definitely one of those questions that answer themselves. :) JC and Atlantis - two great things that go great together! At least in my head. ;) Thank you!
